TopStart is built to talk to one thing, your own Shortcuts app. It has no reason to phone home, and it doesn't.
What TopStart keeps
TopStart stores only what you configure: your pinned shortcuts, preferences, hotkeys, and per-shortcut toggles. It keeps them in a small settings file in your Mac's Application Support folder (~/Library/Application Support/TopStart/config.json). It never uploads any of this anywhere.
What TopStart sends
TopStart runs your shortcuts locally through the Shortcuts app already on your Mac. The only time it goes online is a single call to Lemon Squeezy when you activate a license key, and it sends only the key itself. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no cloud sync, and no other outbound traffic.
Permissions
Input Monitoring is requested so your global and per-shortcut hotkeys work while TopStart is in the background. Notifications (optional) let TopStart tell you when a shortcut finishes. Both are Mac system permissions that stay on your device; TopStart uses them only to run your shortcuts and report the result.
Removing your data
Because everything lives locally, uninstalling TopStart removes it all. Move TopStart to the Trash and delete ~/Library/Application Support/TopStart/ and there is nothing left behind on your Mac or anywhere else.
Contact
Email support@topstart.app and a human will answer. We never share or sell your information, because we never have any to begin with.
