By using TopStart or buying a license you agree to the terms that apply to that use or purchase, subject to your non-waivable rights.
One-time purchase
TopStart is a one-time purchase of US$4.99 through Lemon Squeezy. You get the licensed app and all future updates. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no automatic charge. Prices are in US dollars, and checkout shows the total, including any applicable tax, before you pay.
Trial and delivery
TopStart runs fully for 7 days from first launch, with no payment to start and no charge when it ends. After a purchase, Lemon Squeezy emails the license key to the address used at checkout; enter it in TopStart's license window. If delivery or activation fails, contact support with your purchase email and receipt reference.
License
A purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive license to use TopStart for your personal or professional work on Macs you own or control. It does not transfer ownership of the software and is not a shared team license. Keep the key private; do not sell, rent, sublicense, or distribute it. TopStart validates the license key during activation, which requires access to Lemon Squeezy's licensing service; revocation takes effect when updated license information is obtained. You own your files, always.
Updates
Your purchased features remain unlocked when TopStart updates, and all future updates are included with a one-time purchase. There is no separate fee for any update. No particular future feature, release date, or compatibility with every future macOS version is promised.
Payment
Lemon Squeezy is the payment processor and merchant of record for TopStart purchases. It handles payment, tax, and receipts, and its payment terms apply at checkout. Refund terms are separate and published on the refunds page.
Refunds
Direct purchases have a 14-day refund window from payment, no reason required. Details, including how to request one, are on the refunds page.
Consumer rights
These voluntary terms do not reduce your rights under applicable consumer law, including remedies for faulty or misdescribed software. To the extent the law permits, TopStart is provided as is without additional implied warranties; this does not limit any mandatory warranty, remedy, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here excuses fraud or intentional misconduct.
Changes
These terms may be updated for future use or purchases. Changes do not remove a purchased entitlement or retroactively reduce rights from an earlier purchase. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
